We get it, there’s a lot you’d like to know about franchising with CEFA. While our website is filled with helpful information to get your research underway, we thought it would be helpful to answer some questions that we’re often asked by people interested in franchising with us. Ready to dive in?
Can I make money by investing in a school?
Absolutely! Our Franchise Partners rely on the recurring income that they generate from their fee-paying students. Given the fact that the cost of childcare in Canada is on the rise, your earning potential from your CEFA franchise can potentially be substantial.
Do I need to be a teacher to invest in a CEFA Franchise?
Not at all. While many of our Franchise Partners come from an educational background, you don’t need to be a teacher to invest in a CEFA franchise. After all, the skills required to run a school are notably different from those that help you organize and teach lessons. Providing you have strong customer skills, experience, and are business literate, a CEFA franchise might appeal to you.
How is CEFA different from other schools?
One of the things that stands CEFA apart is our truly unique and world-class curriculum. Refined over a number of years, we provide students with the best opportunity to develop their skills and grow into fully-rounded young people when they make the step up to their next school.
Will I be supported by CEFA once my school is open?
Yes, absolutely. We recognize that opening a school can be a little daunting, which is why we’re here to support you every step of the way. After helping you get your school open in the first instance, we will help you build its profile through marketing, strategic relationship building, and community involvement.
Is franchising better than starting my own business?
We certainly think so! Alarmingly, the failure rate of startups sits around the 90% mark, according to Investopedia. Conversely, franchises have a success rate of around 90%, which is a huge swing. Ultimately, everyone is different and harbors unique aspirations, but franchising is a lot less risky than going it alone, which is why it appeals as an excellent alternative to many aspiring entrepreneurs.
How long has CEFA Early Learning been around?
Our founder, Natacha Beim, opened our first school in November 1998, which was the very start of our journey. We have since grown to several locations throughout Canada in the 20+ years since first opening our doors in Vancouver, and we’re extremely excited about what the future has in store in terms of future CEFA sites.
